Healthcare clowns of Raudonos Nosys, Lithuanian healtchare clowning organisation and member of Red Noses International (RNI), provide humor to support psychosocial wellbeing of the most vulnerable social groups. With support of the RNI Innovation Fund, Raudonos Nosys in partnership with the local Order of Malta chapter developed a pilot program for lonely seniors living in remote locations. PIL's Elma Paulauskaite supported the program from concept stage to dissemination of learnings through a developmental evaluation approach. Elma facilitated co-creation of the program's anchoring principles together with the coordinating team and participating clown artists, and used these throughout the program to ensure decisions on program development aling with these values. In addition to participating in the coordination team in weekly meetings to discuss the program's development and needed adaptations, Elma accompanied the clown artists on several visits to directly observe the program's impact in action. After the program's pilot stage Elma supported a final evalation, documentating and disseminating learnings about the program for possible replication in other Red Noses International chapters.
