Financed by the European Commission Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT), the International Press Institute (IPI) in cooperation with the European Association of Daily Newspapers in Minority and Regional Languages (MIDAS) managed a granting and capacity development program aimed at supporting minority language journalism in Europe. The evaluation team applied a mixed-methods approach to the evaluation, engaging stakeholders, including supported journalistic outlets and writers in the very design of our approach, reconstruction of the program Theory of Change, and sensemaking of the results.
