The Elrha Humanitarian Innovation Fund (HIF) continuously seeks to identify opportunities for innovation based on the barriers to more inclusive humanitarian responses. The main aim of this research assignment is to explore actionable opportunities for innovation in the Disability and Older Age Inclusion area. PIL's Lara Bezzina (Team Lead) and Melissa Miller, together with field partners in Kenya, Ethiopia, Bangladesh and the Philippines, are spearheading a complex data collection process, based on literature review, mapping and extensive consultations with key stakeholders in acute and complex humanitarian contexts.
